Okay, now i've got that down, i feel much relieved.

Anyways, spoke to mum about the lessons and she's quite alright with it, offered to paid too. But still, planning to keep to my plans and well, pay for my lessons myself. I told her to help me check with her people for reasonable rates though. Hahaha.

Went to the new E!Hub (the name is so stupid) at downtown east yesterday, it reminded me of kallang leisure park, quite empty. But then again, kallang's worst i suppose. These two places would've made top notch study locations. Hur.

Had waffles at gelare and basically just sat there for like some 4 hours or so listening to WX and JN insult each other.

I survived the session using earplugs.

Yup, same pair that i bought because of the canto-song-blasting-auntie i ran into on the bus one fine day. Usually if i'm alone, i'll go up to the person and ask them to turn it down or so (i know i'm being anal but whatever, noise pollution) but that day, somehow seeing that it's an auntie, i didnt feel nice about saying that. Oh well. Hence the ear plugs.

They're pretty good really, everyone who cant stand music blasting teens aunties but dont have the guts to confront them should get a pair.

25 bucks. So utterly cute ! Or as andrew would put it, "so utterly useless !"

It's a mini "stun gun" btw.

My mittens are coming in today. Now to try and figure out how to wear them in Singapore and not look like a total idiot. Yay me.

Woke up with eyes resembling Wilfred's (lau). I realised what a difference it made to my face, i looked much puffier than usual. Then again, it might be water retention.

Oh well. Almond eyes, puffy face, what to do ? Two words. Retail therapy.

If i had enough cash, the first thing i'll splurge on now would be an itouch. Oh well. Anyone interested in swimming ?

changi village

We went down to Changi Village in the end. Popped out of my place at about 10.30pm, went to big ben's to pick up 2 apple pies and proceeded to laugh at 'drew as he tried to direct the uncle into the area. They got quite lost, only found me by about 11pm.

So off we went to Changi Village and there we were perplexed by which store to eat at (there were three stores, while we were looking for the tissue prata store of my yesteryears). After much consideration and stalling, we settled on the one next to 7-11 and ordered our food talking about random stuff while waiting for the food.

Once the tissue prata came, i knew it was the love. 'drew was amused by my reaction i suppose: "you look really happy, when's the last time you ate this ?" Shall upload a photo of the lovely treat once i get it uploaded. Hahaha.

Was so fun yesterday. Very much entertained i suppose, especially after 'drew told me about his *ahem* "thief" encounter. *snickers*

On wednesday, while on a bus to the airport, i got so bored i texted andrew (ong) aka love-of-my-life. The conversation was as follows:

Me: Rah.
ATM: Hello. I wanted to ask you out for lunch today.
Me: Eh. It's like evening now, i always thought that people had lunch in the noon.

So yea. I rang 'drew up before he could reply and blabbered to him, setting a date for Thosai at Simpang next Tuesday afternoon (his fault, he was having a month old craving for it). But being the impatient bugger that i he is, we're meeting later tonight instead. Whheeeeeee. Think i last saw him on my birthday. Coincidently, his birthday's coming up too. (:

In today's mail, a letter from NUS came in. I suppose i ripped the envelope too fast to be worried about my result written inside. Haha.

Anyways, was merely a letter stating that i'm shortlisted for SDE Architecture. Aptitude test, written test and interview on the second week of May. No news from FASS though. Gah.


I dont even know if i should feel happy or not, it's so troublesome. Sigh.

Je t'adore

Bought Endless Nights, the last volume to Sandman after long last. Flipped through it a lil, will be reading it later i suppose.

Reading some old entries, i think this post reminds me of some of the sweetest times i've had with Daniel back in my sec 3 years. I suppose he was the only one who made me wake up and truly think about the things and people around me in a more personal manner.


They annoyed the crap outta me, made me laugh till my sides hurt on more times then one; killed off the romantic in me, woke up the cynic in me, made me cry and worry over so many things; had to forcibly feed one of them who was on a diet, had marvelous company at almost all hours.

'Free delivery service', 3am entertainment, camp consultant, chemistry tutors, peace maker, movie partner, really important people. I think that year was definitely a turning point of sorts in my life, i'll be lying if i said otherwise.

FT on thursday. I need to read the book soon. Gahhh.

Signal To Noise (Neil Gaiman & Dave McKean) has absolutely gorgeous artwork. It's like a 100 page compilation of sandman covers (McKean did all the covers). Anyways, Yanyi, check it out ya.

I think i'm pissed enough at my parents to do something drastic. If you'll gonna give her so much leeway, i'll show you how i can push you to the wall too. Arghhhh.

driving

Driving was pretty good today. Ran into bunny on my way there. Such a coincidence since Brandon just asked about him last night. Ah well.

Bunny's almost done with his prac already and here i am still at the last few parts of module 1 (though i signed up with the school earlier). Oh well. Should have went for lessons earlier on. Ho-hum. Was raining quite heavily during the second session today and visibility fell quite badly; was pretty afraid/nervous - as usual - since i was on the roads. Another 2 more sessions tomorrow. Hope they go well aka I'll FINALLY get to do module 2. (:
